- Lot Description
(pair) Chinese famille rose porcelain wall-hanging panels, carved hardwood frame with fretwork, peach and 'hundred antiques' motifs, encasing porcelain plaque with painted scene of pheasants in a floral landscape, each with inscription and two seals, plaque: approx 29"h, 8.5"w, overall: approx 47 3/8"h, 14.5"w, 1"d, 27lbs total
Condition
In my opinion regarding LOT: 1230-The panels were examined on the wall, backs appear to be covered with wood however, I do not have full access, a UV examination of the panels is unremarkable, with no noticeable cracks or chips to visible panel, there does appear to be some wear/minute chips at edges, the ground is white (not celadon) and I observe some paint /enamel wear, overall frames are intact with pierced carvings remaining well defined, there is some slight separation at the joints of each frame, rubs and light finish wear
