(pair) Continental architectural wrought iron gates, 20th c., each having scrolled frame with applied foliate motifs, gilt painted accents, one with loss to applied foliate, approx 71"h, 29"w
Condition
9.24.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1248-The gates are sturdy and intact, the small swing catch at center operates smoothly, the pair exhibit imperfections, oxidation, rubs, and wear to paint throughout, all minor and as commensurate with their rustic nature and outdoor use, we do not have a scale for such items, they are iron so rather heavy, we estimate that they weigh approx. 60-70lbs each, they came to us from Italy, I am sorry, I do not know the age
