2-pc black silk taffeta w/ black floral net overlay & embroidered silk applique, monobosom bodice w/ scoop neckline & elbow length sleeves, c. 1907, B 40”, L 18”, skirt W 32”, L 44”, (minor shatter bodice lining, neckline altered, skirt Wband shredded, holes in lace up to 1”) Good; 2-pc French blue silk velvet c/o bodice w/ pleated tulle standing ruffle to scoop neckline & short sleeve gathered to top of SH, trained skirt w/ satin backed crenulated hem over half silk satin pleated dust ruffle, 1903, label "Woodward & Lothrop, Washington DC”, B 40”, L 16”, skirt W 25”, L 41”-60”, (wear spots/minor pile loss to velvet esp. underarms & W, minor shatter CF placket, few small stains, wear & fray at hem) Very Good. PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
