2-pc tan, red, blue & black warp twill patterned silk w/ burgundy silk faille pleated panels & bows throughout, dyed & engraved MOP CF buttons, cuff & bustle skirt w/ openwork chain stitch embroidered bands & knotted fringe w/ tied silk tassels, c. 1878, label “Mme. Marguerite, Paris”, B 33”, L 34”, skirt W 24”, L 42”, (small holes/snacks, few loose stitches/seam openings up to 2", Very Good; 3-pc grey & white striped silk taffeta w/ patterned silk covered buttons, self-bows & pleated net ruffle to collar , originally 1870 updated mid 1880s, B 34”, L 21”, skirt W 26”, L 42”, (light discoloration to bodice, minor shatter CB collar, tiny holes/wear spots, light wear to buttons, 12” tear CB hem, 3” tear & few stains up to 1” overskirt) Good. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
