2-pc cotton organdy wedding dress c/o hand embroidered bodice w/ wide bateau neckline & short puff sleeves, tiered skirt satin ribbon trim, c. 1857, B 35”, L 13”, skirt W 23”, L 44”, (4.5” separation b/t trim & collar, minor discoloration/fabric stress under rms, holes in trim up to 0.5”) Very Good; 1 sheer white cotton day dress w/ long sleeves, CF opening, attached slightly trained skirt w/ applied ruffles, 1860s, w/ c. 1865 bonnet, dress B 42”, W 36”, L 55”-66” (slip N/I, 1” period mend W, discoloration CB bodice, 16” tear CB hem, 3” tear W placket, tiny-0.25” holes W & hem, missing all bodice closures), bonnet 7”x7” x 5” w/ 4”x32” ties, (wear, few breaks, wire frame bent) Good, (both w/ light staining/discoloration) Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.

Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
