1 block printed wool challis w/ floral & water motif stripe, narrow band collar, fitted upper sleeve w/ balloon lower sleeve, bodice w/ pleats to CF W, piped throughout, 1840s, B 36”, W 28”, L 56”, (4” & 5” holes seat, tears up to 2” & repairs up to 6" he m, heavy wear underarms, wear w/ many 0.25”-2” thinning spots, minor dye bleed) Fair; 1 white cotton at-home dress w/ hand embroidered eyelet collar, CF panel & cuffs, piped throughout, early 1850s, B 36”, W 32”, L 54”, (discoloration, stains up to 1.5", few stains up to 5” at hem) Good; 1 indigo resist printed cotton house dress w/ fitted interior bodice of glazed cotton, 1890s, B 30”-34”, L 55”, (extensive shatter to interior bodice, few light stains at seat up 1”) Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum. Very Good.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. We have added personnel to our staff to pack and ship lots purchased by on-line Bidders. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
