2-pc evening gown off-white silk faille & cream weft face floral brocade on pink silk moire ground w/ shaped knife pleats to either side of V neckline, CF hook & eye closures, short puff sleeves & metallic beaded bows w/ fringe to back of SHs & left front of asymmetrical trained skirt, label “Madame Glover, Importer, New York”, B 32”, W 21”, L 17”, skirt W 22”, L 45”-60”, (minor discoloration to cream silk w/ extensive staining CF skirt up to 34” x 18”, heavy wear & shatter to skirt waistband w/ some repairs, few CF bodice closures loose, few pulls in damask, bead loss & shedding, 1” repair CB collar, 1.5” seam opening left SH) Bodice good, skirt fair. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.

Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
