1 cinnamon & black striped patterned silk w/ oak leaf & acorn motif, piped throughout, glazed linen lining, 1855, B 34”, L 13”, (underarm shatter w/ repairs, 2.5” opening left sleeve, lining discolored) Fair; 1 pink plaid silk taffeta w/ piping, coordinated ribbon ruffle to short sleeve, 1855, B 32”, L 17”, (discoloration, few missing closures) Good; 1 taffeta warp chine w/ floral stripe & striped tan ground, silk ribbon fringe, neckline & armscye piped, glazed linen lining, 1858, B 32", L 12", (underarm & CB placket shattering, 1” tear CB W, discoloration, tiny holes & small stains, wear to fringe) Fair; 1 black faille w/ self-edged ruffle, 1865, B 33”, L 16”, (minor iron shine, buttons damaged/missing, trim remnants inner neckline) Fair-good. PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
