1 pink brushed cashmere evening cape w/ gold, silver, copper, bronze lame' & gold beaded passementerie to neckline & scalloped hem, c. 1890, label “A. Walles, 15 Rue Auber, Paris”, SH-SH 22”, L 36”, (loose stitches in trim at collar, lace discolored/partly unstitched, light discoloration collar & lower CF, tiny-0.25” holes); 1 winter wedding cape of cream moire’ silk faille w/ band collar, CF hook & eye closures, padded silk twill lining,1860s, SH-SH 21”, L 37”, (minor fraying & few small seam openings collar, collar lining shattered w/ reinforcement stitching visible, few 0.25”-1” light stains especially lower left, light wear at hem, discoloration lining), (both w/ petticoats N/I) Both good-very good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.

Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
