- Lot Description
A finely crafted chest, likely from the 17th or 18th century, featuring a wooden frame covered in richly colored crimson velvet. The front, sides and top are adorned with intricate brass studs, forming decorative patterns.

Wear to the velvet covering, particularly along the base and edges. The lock plate is intact but shows signs of rust, no key. The bottom has some cracks and chips, especially near the base, with a small section broken off. Overall, the piece exhibits wear consistent with age and use but remains structurally sound.
