This is a pair of polychrome hand wrought iron candelabra with five prickets each, designed with scrolling arms and foliage motifs. They are likely from the late 19th to early 20th century, made with a cast iron frame painted to resemble a more delicate, gilt finish. They showcase the romantic and whimsical characteristics of Rococo design, including naturalistic details such as leaves and vines.
