This is an ornate sterling silver 2 1/4 pint Buttercup pattern kettle crafted by the renowned American silversmith Gorham. The kettle features a floral repoussé pattern across its bulbous body, with detailed engravings that highlight the elegance of the design. The curved spout complements the overall shape, and the large overhead handle is richly decorated with matching floral motifs. The kettle is accompanied by a matching stand and burner, allowing for functional heating. The base of the kettle is stamped with the Gorham hallmark and silver marks, confirming its authenticity and silver content. The set has a classical, elegant design typical of Gorham’s late 19th-century work.
