• Lot Description
  Two-panel hinged room screen with multicolors, carved depicting a blossoming design with phoenixes on different backgrounds; life like minutely hand carved bone, abalone and mother-of-pearl scenery presenting a blooming tree and flowering branches with birds and butterflies; multicolor lacquer background; continuous foliate design on side edges. Lower openwork panels with flying phoenixes amid floral designs. Feet with casters for mobility.

  Condition

  Good, some losses to decoration, a few natural distress lines to wood, some wear to finish and minor losses to lacquer, losses to wood and old restoration, some warping to one panel, lacking one caster. One caster to the center detached but present. Please see detailed pictures.
