• Lot Description
  Mounted in gold and silver, detachable circular cluster designed as a central pearl surrounded by eight grain-set old briliant cut diamonds with rose cut diamonds, set points forming a star motif, the slightly smaller pearsl at the cardinal points being intersperced with larger old brilliant cut diamonds in cut down silver collets, these being accented at their outermost extremities with eight rose-cut diamonds collets and having eight old-brilliant-cut diamonds between, total estimated diamond weight 2.10 carats, the whole supported by a pierced openwork gold festooned gallery, with recessed fold-down pendant loop, this cluster is attached by means of a screw threaded fitting to the hinged triple-edged wire gold bangle with rose-cut diamond set "C: scroll and fleau-de-lys shoulder motifs, the blade and box clasp with trace link safety chain fitting; original purple velvet fitted case bearing the retailer's name C. J. Hill. Late Carchpole & Williams, dated circa 1890.
