Very Rare Native American Drill Collection, Early-Archaic to Middle-Woodland (6000 BC - 1000 AD) flint and chert Drills. The points range in size from 1.3" - 2.8". When an arrowhead or spear point was damaged, they were often reknapped into a drill and used to put holes in hide, sinew, rawhide and even granite and slate for pipes, gorgets, bannerstones or birdstones. These are field finds from private property and are guaranteed authentic. In a wood folk art frame, overall 13-1/4" x 15-1/8".
