Woodblock in colors (nishiki-e); ink and color on paper, horizontal ōban, from the series "Eight Views of Lake Biwa," signed Hiroshige ga, published by Yamamotoya Heikichi, early 1830s; inscribed: "Spring - glow of evening on the peaks of Hira when snow clouds have lifted and the flowers have yet to bloom."
