  Handmade and painted Peruvian folk art diorama boxes, largest with nativity scene, 14 1/2" x 9 1/8" x 4 5/8"; smaller box with bull fighting scene, 12" x 7 1/4" x 3 1/8", each with doors on leather hinges, both marked to the backside, Angel Castro L., Hand made in Peru. Provenance: Life time collection of esteemed Professor and his Vice-Chancellor wife, Pittsburgh, PA.

  Condition

  Good, cracks to wood panels, minor staining and scuffs to surface.
