  Of round form deep footed bowls, takamaki-e decorated in polychrome with gold and silver highlights, on iron red lacquered finish background: one -depicting main Noh drama characters (the Takasago couple) - Jo holding a broom and Uba holding a rake while standing under a pine tree, 2-1/8" x 10-3/4"; second - depicting Hakushiki-jō dancing with a fan and bells, with Mount Fuji in ten background, 1-7/8" x 10-1/8".
