• Lot Description
  Two finely detailed 19th-century miniature paintings set within elaborate gilt bronze frames. The one depicts a serene pastoral landscape featuring a flowing river, tall trees, and figures in period attire. In the background, a classical structure, likely a church or manor, rises against a backdrop of rolling hills. The other depicts a young couple in a landscape, the young man holding a bird, signed lower right, La Martine. The frame is adorned with intricate scrollwork and a central cherub motif at the bottom.

  Condition

  The painting and frame are in good condition, with minor wear consistent with age. The gilding on the frame shows some patina, adding to its antique character.
