• Lot Description
  Two patinated gilt metal round boxes with fitted lids, set with open work carved hard stones, approx. 46 mm x 38 mm correspondently, filigree decorated with floral-foliate and butterflies design finished with polychrome enamels and paste stones bejewelled vanity boxes; gilt finish interiors and underneath. Provenance: old private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.
