  The Imperial limited edition of the complete works of Robert Burns (Self-Interpreting), copy 240/500, - 1st edition, circa 1898. Published by The Gebbie Publishing Co., Ltd. Philadelphia. Royal octavos, 12 volumes, bound in three quarters leather over marbled boards, gilt titles and tooling to the spine, raised gilt bands, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, engraved frontispiece with tissue guard to each volume, illustrated with sixty etchings and wood cuts, maps and facsimiles.
