Hand painted on silk wall scroll, with fine silky fibre boarders, overall 69-1/2" x 18-5/8" with apprx. 20-1/2" composite faux marble bar; signed in the upper left part - "Gessen (the author’s surname) (Note: Tanke Gessen (Feb 16, 1741 - Feb 25, 1809) was a Japanese painter and monk who lived in the late Edo period." with seals - "Matsuyama Kouta" and "Jyakusho Gessen (Tanke Gessen’s art name used when Tanke Gessen was the chief monk of Jakusho Temple located in Ise City of Japan)".
