Exquisitely made sterling silver service for 24, including 24 sterling fish knives with with sterling blade and hollow handle, 8-7/8"; and 24 sterling fish forks with sterling tines and hollow handle, 7-3/4", with serving fish knife with sterling open work hand chased blade and finely carved mammoth task handle, 13-5/8", and serving fish fork with sterling tines and finely carved mammoth task handle, 10-5/8". All pieces marked on then handles, blades and tines with lion passant, crown, queen's had left, date letter for 1886 and makers' mark for Harrison Bros. & Howson. Every handle hand chased with noble crest, combining Royal blue and gold dragon of Kingdom of Wessex and ducal chapeau of Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford (uncle of King Henry VII of England). Total gross weight of knives and forks, without two serving pieces, 54.73 toz.
Offered in customs made presentation case with removable tier-tray inside, blue velvet lining, lid top inlaid with patinated bronze/brass shield finely engraved with combined Royal Dragon Ducal Chapeau crest; original key.

Very good overall silver, some tarnish and polish residues, wear and some losses to case, some inside dividers detached, but present, a few pieces wire age separation on handles, mini distress line to serving knife; separation and distress lines to wood, soils and staining commensurate with age and use.
