• Lot Description
  Sevres styles compote, overall quatrefoil form with reticulated lattice work dish and base, white ground, light blue rim and band around the stem and base, picked out in gilt. Custom metal insert to the interior, raised on four gilt feet. Not marked. Provenance: Life time collection, Ben H. Richman, businessman and philanthropist, Pittsburgh/ Washington, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Rubbing to gilt throughout, old putty holding the dish to the base visible, metal insert with paint losses and soils from having held a floral arrangement. Overall very good.
