  Tempera on quatrefoil carved wood panel with back slat, depicting St. Matthew the Apostle and the Evangelist, polychrome Pan-Slavic design with gilt highlights, signed in Cyrillic, framed in carved high relief frame, finished in pigments and picked up in gilt, overall 20" x 18".

  Condition

  Good antique condition, some wear, soils, distress lines to wood and losses commensurate with age and use; later back fittings to hang on the wall.
