• Lot Description
  Medium low dense wool pile on cotton foundation. Fine hand-knotted rug. The central medallion, with intricate floral patterns, is framed by a vibrant red field, while the surrounding navy-blue areas are filled with a repeating geometric motif. The border is adorned with smaller floral and vine patterns in shades of red, orange, and blue, fringe at one end and false weave at another end. Persian Hamadan, ca. 1930's

  Good antique condition, sporadic wear in areas, some soils and dirts commensurate with age and use; needs cleaning.
