• Lot Description
  Pair of incredibly detailed masterfully hand carved wall brackets, depicting figural Blackamoors supporting carved tops with serpentine border and draped swags by the sides, fine hand carved fine detailed design on outfits, hand painted in polychrome with gilt highlights; numbered and stamped on the back with retail old paper label of Paul Schmidt on the back. Provenance: old private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Good overall antique condition, some wear, sporadic losses and distress lines to wood, old restorations and touch ups commensurate with age and use.
