• Lot Description
  Unique natural mother-of-pearl seashells on fitted custom carved wood stands, depicting open work blossoming Sakura branches, table screens; shells originally were hand painted in gold with pigment outlines depicting Phoenixes, lotus flowers with lush foliage and rocks on the front and blooming flora-foliate motifs on the back.

  Condition

  Good, losses to gilt decorations throughout, soils and dust, hairline to one shell.
