  Pair of Chinese famille verte porcelain vases, decorated with vibrant floral motifs, auspicious symbols, and intricate ribbon designs in a rich color palette of green, blue, red, and gold. The vase features delicate gilded handles shaped like stylized mythical creatures, adding to its elegance and craftsmanship. The surface is finely enameled, with a profusion of hand-painted flowers, butterflies, and intricate patterns. The intricate lattice and ribbon elements suggest a symbolic representation of prosperity and longevity. Undulating ribbon rim. Not marked. Vases accompanied by an appraisal by John Young from 2002 valuing them at $2,500.

  Good antique condition with minor signs of wear and rubbing to gilt consistent with age, small chip at rim. Minor losses to some enameling, minor chips to surface of handles.
