• Lot Description
  Medium low wool pile on cotton foundation. Fine hand-knotted rug, features a vibrant ruby red central field filled with intricate floral motifs arranged in a symmetrical pattern. A vertical vine with blooming flowers and palmettes runs through the center; borders with floral serpentine motifs on multicolour background. Dominant hues include deep red, black, and blue, with accents of ivory and gold. Persian, ca. 1940's/1950's

  Condition

  Some losses around the edges, trimmed fringe, wear to the weft in some areas. Old repairs.
