  18k yellow gold ring featuring an oval faceted cut ruby, estimated weight 2.85 ct, natural corundum ruby variety, origin East Africa, moderately included, type II, dark vivid red slightly purplish red color (GIA slpR 7/6), very good cut; flanked by two trillion cut diamonds, near colorless. The lot will be supplied with a copy of an updated report from Beattie & Sons regarding the updated replacement value of the ring in 1996.
