  18k yellow gold elegant open work hinged locket pendant on chain with lobster clasp, after 17th c. Ottoman Empire brass door ornament, Museum of Foundation, Istanbul, insert of carved roundel turquoise, apprx. 30 mm; marked on the tag and clasp; overall weight 42.6 gm, weight without turquoise inset, 34.9 gm. Offered with a historical annotation booklet.

  Very good, gold purity additional X-ray machine tested, turquoise insert with some losses.
