  Beautifully executed large ten-panel room divider screen, hand painted in polychrome depicting squirrel, different birds, flowers and trees silk brocade borders, wooden frames with metal fittings, signed and sealed on each panel (from left to right): "Qian Qiu (the author’s surname or art name meaning “thousand years”)", "Liu Zi (the author’s surname or art name meaning “willow”)", Ru Yue (the author’s surname or art name meaning “like the moon”) / Ru Yue An (the author’s surname or art name, or a workshop name meaning “Nunnery Ru Yue or Temple Ru Yue”)", "Qi Feng (the author’s surname or art name meaning “phoenix”)", Liu Zi (the author’s surname or art name meaning “willow”)", and "Ru Yue An (the author’s surname or art name, or a workshop name meaning Nunnery Ru Yue or Temple Ru Yue)". Overall folded 72-1/4" x 20-5/8" x 5-3/4". Provenance: Estate of Dr. Ye Yong Chun (Korean, 1910-1994), who served in the South Korean government, notably as Head of Civil Affairs in the Ministry of Education in 1944, Minister in Office of Governor-General of Korea, Vice Governor and Governor of Bank of Korea (1951-1961), Minister of Construction from (1964-1966), Chairman of Korean Branch of International LiONS Club, Chair of Korean International Law Association and Deputy Chair of Democratic-Republican Party; by descent in the family to current owner.
