  Of bluster from porcelain meiping vase with wide shoulders and small tapered neck; hand painted in polychrome depicting flying cranes in reserves and in between among clouds, all on celadon background, signed on the bottom. Offers with carved wood stand, 2-1/8" x 9-1/8". Provenance: Estate of Dr. Ye Yong Chun (Korean, 1910-1994), who served in the South Korean government, notably as Head of Civil Affairs in the Ministry of Education in 1944, Minister in Office of Governor-General of Korea, Vice Governor and Governor of Bank of Korea (1951-1961), Minister of Construction from (1964-1966), Chairman of Korean Branch of International LiONS Club, Chair of Korean International Law Association and Deputy Chair of Democratic-Republican Party; by descent in the family to current owner.
