• Lot Description
  Autumn at the Arayu Hot Spring, Shiobara (Shiobara Arayu no aki), 1920. Woodblock print, oban, from the series Souvenirs of Travel I (Tabi miyage dai isshu), signed Hasui, and with artist’s red circular seal Kawase, publisher’s circular seal Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo) lower right, matted under glass in black frame, overall 22" x 17".

  Condition

  Full margins, yellowing to paper with some fading to the colors, both sides with pencil annotations to the margins, old hinge tape, verso of paper appears to have rolled from rubbing; see photos for details. No tears, no prior repairs.
