Provenance: from the collection of Benjamin Sonnenberg (1901-1978). Benjamin Sonnenberg was an American public relations consultant, who represented celebrities and major corporations. He was best known for the lavish entertaining he hosted for clients and other notables at his Manhattan townhouse located at 19 Gramercy Park South. He also had extensive art collection. The Sonnenberg Sotheby's sale of 1979 made auction history, it was the largest assemblage of art and antiques from a single owner auctioned by Sotheby Parke Bernet of New York.

Very good for the age. Patch repair verso, please see photos. Evenly fluorescent under UV light, with exception of the pinpointing of the patched area and several minor in paintings mid left.
