  "Foolish Guillemot" No. 44, Plate CC XVIII from "The Birds of America", Havell Edition, 1834. Hand-colored aquatint and engraving on wove paper, linen backed, with the J. Whatman Turkey Mill watermark upper left corner, engraved by Robert Havell, matted and framed under glass in a wood frame, overall 27-7/8" x 40-3/4".

  Condition

  Linen backed, some yellowing to paper, minor foxing, moisture stain to lower edge, otherwise okay.
