  "Sciurus Longipilis" No. 6, Plate XXVII, from The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America, Philadelphia, 1845-48. Hand-colored lithograph on un-watermarked paper, printed and colored by J. T. Bowen, Philadelphia, 1844, matted and framed under glass, overall 35" x 30".

  Condition

  Acid burns, light struck, light foxing, small tear to upper right edge under mat. Colors still good.
