• Lot Description
  Double sunk white enamel dial, with elongated Roman numerals for all chapters, except six, where the subsidiary dial is located. All minute hash marks are on continuous ring at the dial's edge. Blued spade type minute/hour hands, blued stick type with marquee, for the subsidiary sunken dial, showing all second marks, bold mark every five, and arabic numerals for every ten seconds. 11 jewel gold gilt full plate lever set movement, With special screw regulator. Transitional extension on main spring barrel, with a period profile of a steam locomotive stamped into the pillar plate. Although lever set with the adjustable regulator, the watch offered more accuracy, but not identical to later railroad approved models. Gross weight is 153.9 grams.   Running ar inspection, but not tested for accuracy. The 14 gold case is very clean, with the reverse featuring a scene with the classic Victorian swallow, surrounded by a floral garland. Dial side bears initials and garland motif. Fine hairline in enamel between three and four.
