  Exquisitely decorated porcelain plate, depicting of French Emperor Napoleon I coronation of Josephine, after Jacques-Louis David "The Coronation of Napoleon" (1806), wide border with gilt floral-foliate design on turquoise background, marked with gilt crowned "N" and inscribed on then back; framed in French Empire style film frame under glass in shadow box, overall 2-7/8" x 14-1/2" x 14-1/2".   Condition

  Plate is very good, some distress lines to frame, soils and dust, sporadic wear to box commensurate with age and use.
