• Lot Description
  Of oval shape porcelain Sevres style plaque, hand painted in polychrome depicting a bucolic scene in a park with fountain, hand gilded border on royal blue border background; ormolu bronze wall scone with Tuscan beads rim, ribbon atop, and attached double scroll upswept arms with grotesque mask and double candleholders with bobeches, acanthus leaf design; porcelain with impressed market on then back. Provenance: old private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Good, arms slightly loose in joint, some wear to gilt and minor sporadic oxidation, commensurate with age and use.
