• Lot Description
  Arabic numerals for all chapters, all minute hash marks at the dial's edge, bold at chapters. Blued Fleur de Lis minute/hour hands. Exposition window on the case top. Instead of glass side panels, the left and right side panels, feature a man on the left side, a woman on the right; in hand applied enamel, wearing appropriate attire for the Renaissance period. For both subjects a castle is in the background. Grisaille flesh, offset with iridescent enamels for fabrics and appointments. Repeater button is on the top plate above twelve.   Condition

  Clock chimes in natural progression, or by engaging the button. All pivots appear fine, as well as the escape wheel and lever, and the compensated balance pivots. Somehow, the hairspring escaped it's guide and kinked. It will have to be aligned before the clock will run. The enamel is in very good condition.
