• Lot Description
  Elegantly cast patinated and ormolu bronze French Empire pastille with round slightly squatted form raised on lion heads legs with paws, fluted body, hand blown glass insert, and ormolu bronze reticulated dome lid with berry finial, all raised on carved banded white agate base. Provenance: old private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Very good antique condition, some sporadic wear to gilt finish and some oxidation commensurate with age and use.
