  Medium low dense silky wool lush pile on wool foundation. Extra fine hand-knotted rug. Field with central multicolor medallion with extensions, pictorial animals and floral designs on ruby red background; multicolor corner guards; multiple borders with floral serpentine motifs on multicolor background; fringe at both ends. Persian, 1960's.
