  Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty Maleficent and Castle Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1959); this stunning and mysterious scene, featuring Maleficent and her raven Diablo at the ruins of the Forbidden Mountain castle, with a full moon high above glowing at night around, maleficent figure alone 4-1/4"; gouache in black with complementing blue, yellow, and pink colors, reference labels on the back; professionally framed and archival triple-matted under museum glass frame by Emilie Cohen Studios, Pittsburgh, PA, overall 12-1/4" x 20-3/4". Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA; acquired from Heritage Auctions in June 19-21, 2020 auction, lot 98715.

  Condition

  Very good overall, hard to notice slight undulation to dartboard, tack pinholes in all four corners and a tiny bit wear to the corners.
