  Of rectangular form wooden vanity box with hinged lid and metal escutcheron for key, hand carved in elaborate Renaissance Revival design, depicting birds under royal crown in cartouche with scrolls, vines, birds and stylised dragons on top; cartouches and lush foliate motif on sides with beaded trim; antique wool hand woven tapestry inlaid on the inside.   Good overall antique condition, nice patina, missing part of the carving on side, some sporadic wear on areas, some warping, natural distress line to bottom commensurate with age and use, no key.
