• Lot Description
  Amboyna burl wood veneered bureau/writing desk with rectangular top above a single pull drawer with double bail handles. The roll-top opens by way of pulling the top drawer below the lid, revealing a folding writing surface that slides back with extra storage below. Interior with four pigeon-hole compartments flanked by six drawers. Writing surface with pen trays on either side. Extra drawer below, ca 1780's. On square, tapering legs. Purchased from Stair & Company, NY.

  Condition

  Good antique condition overall. Missing veneer throughout, scratches and cracks, leather writing surface completely worn, some losses throughout.
