  Gold vermeil on 800 silver Italian compact with hinged lid and beveled mirror inside with pink gauze, lid central cartouche minute hand enamelled depicting bucolic 18th c. scene with a lady and a gentleman in a palace music room; hand chased with scrolls foliate design; fully marked on the inside; overall weight 86.0 gm.

  Condition

  Very good, nice patina, central cartouche enamels intact, unnoticeable couple flea bites to sky blue enamel, some tarnish commensurate with age and use.
