A white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals for all chapters. A black circle segment above the chapter markers, with all minute hash marks in black, bold at chapters. Above the hash marks, the hour is divided into increments of five minutes, five for one o'clock thru sixty for twelve o'clock. Gilt Louis XV type minute/hour hands. Signed Le Roy Paris on dial and movement. A gilt bronze case, with adjustable extended center bun type feet, attached to a base decorated with painted porcelain panels, with oversized acanthus leaves flanking the sides of the case. The center section is trimmed in egg and dart motif on the bottom edge with two porcelain panels, the top of the center section providing the foundation, for a detailed scene featuring two semi-nude young children net fishing, as well as hunting fowl. Domed and beveled face crystal, clear glass case back. Approximately a 60 mm Japy type movement, with rear count wheel, striking on the half and full hour.
Condition
Very good gilt finish. Clock not running at Inspection. Clock chimes on half and full hour. Separation to lower porcelain panel. Small chip out of dial, not seen with cover closed. Cracked bell.
