Refer to the description for the Beatrice window, as this example is a companion piece, extracted from the same location. The viewpoint is the same, however the scene is an interior one, with Hamlet standing on a checkerboard pattern floor of green and opaline white glass. The art features the same exqusite truncated jewel pyramid construction for the arch support columns. Hamlet's garments are constructed from similar colored glass as Beatrice's garments. However, Hamlet's face and hands are artist painted, but raised above the facial plane of the window, approximately 3/16", giving the effect of depth; as if Hamlet is occupying a liminal space. One small age fracture observed in a small piece contained in the title block.
